Like his name, he is very amusing by nature. His journey with Dream United started after he joined Jain University CMS where he opted for BBA.

Shanky realized how professionally football worked in India because he had never been into such a setup as Dream United and this had made him and his teammates realized their potential by working hard. 

They didnt have any achievements in football prior to starting a football training program in Banglaore. As they started trianing at Dream United Shanky and his team started winning trophies which they had only dreamed of in the various Karnataka Football leagues and inter college matches. Their team was handled very professional though they were just a college football team in Bangalore. 

After a year of training, Shanky made a strong decision of getting his brother Rittik to join the academy as he knew this was the right place for him to develop as many other Indian Footballers. Shanky surely took the right decision because in a years time, Rittik played the Indian League Under 18 and the Bangalore Super Division  which was a huge achievement for the youngster. Shanky also went on to sign a professional contract with Dream United along with his brother.
